What this page is for

Questions about the review itself: something that is unclear, a claim you have seen and want to know how it is graded, a study you think should be reflected, or a correction you would like to suggest. These are welcome, and corrections are made to the page rather than noted elsewhere.

What this site does not do

This review does not recommend for or against treatment, and it does not offer an assessment or a consultation in relation to anything it describes. It is not a booking page. There is no service offered here for polynucleotide injections or for any other treatment discussed, and nothing on this site should be read as an invitation to arrange one.

Questions about your own care

A question about your own situation — whether an injectable is appropriate for you, what a change in your skin means, whether a lump after an injection needs attention — is a clinical question and belongs with a clinician who can examine you and see your records. The hospital’s outpatient channels are the right route for that, and the appointments page explains how they work.

If you have a symptom you are worried about

A firm lump or nodule that appears weeks or months after an injection, skin that turns white or dusky during or shortly after one, any change in vision, or spreading redness with fever is assessed by a clinician rather than discussed on a website. Contact the service that treated you, or the hospital’s outpatient channels, and say what was injected, when and where.
